Before Friday's practice session I thought "pshh hammering, piece of cake!" Let me tell you, trying to hammer a 3 inch nail into a 4 x 6 piece of wood is not like hammering a nail in the wall to hang a pretty picture. I was literally sweating in an air conditioned room. After a few hours everyone got the swing of things. We also practiced measuring out joists and using the hand saw to cut them! Next week will be our first day out on the site so stay tuned for updates!
